Bloomfield College Athletics

Bloomfield College senior Sara Locke recently was named as a recipient of the Division II Athletics Directors Association Academic Achievement Award.  Locke, who was also named All-CACC Academic and qualified for the NFCA Academic Award program, finished her senior year last season for the Deacons.

Bloomfield College softball players Brianne Moore, Amanda Bartels and Amanda Byrnes were named to the North Jersey All-Decade Team by the Bergen Record.  Bartels, a current senior, was named as one of the top 2 catchers in Bergen County during the decade while Moore was named one of the top 3 pitchers in Passaic County.  Byrnes was also named one of the top 2 catchers in Passaic County.  

Bloomfield College senior 2nd baseman Sara Locke has been named to the CACC Spring All-Academic Team after finishing this year with a GPA of 3.84.  Locke, who hails from Dunellen, NJ, was the only Deacon named to the team.
